New Skilled Occupation Lists starting on 19th April 2017

2017 has proven to be a year of changes for Australian Immigration. After the downturn of the Australian and global economy, the focus of Australia has been shifted from Immigration to fill shortages of workers to prioritizing Australian for local jobs.
Not everyone can just apply for a work visa or a skilled visa. Among a long list of other criteria, the position of work they are applying for must be in specified lists. The previous lists are called the "Skilled Occupation List" (SOL) and the "Consolidated Skilled Occupation List" (CSOL).
